Start with appetizers like the Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls, where tender jerk-marinated chicken mingles with crisp cabbage and aromatic spices encased in perfectly fried, golden eggrolls. The Island Seafood Dip, served bubbling hot in a cast iron skillet with green plantain chips, offers a creamy, creole-spiced crescendo of ocean flavors.
For the main course, daring diners rave about the richly braised Spice House Oxtail served alongside fragrant rice and peas and steamed cabbage—an indulgent dish that’s tender and deeply savory. The Lobster Mac and Cheese takes a beloved comfort food to new heights, blending luscious lobster bites with a creamy, cheesy sauce that’s decadently satisfying.
Seafood lovers won’t want to miss the Fried Red Snapper with Black Rice or the Tropical Seafood Paradise, both dishes bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and expertly balanced spices. Vegetarians are equally spoiled with options like the Veggie Delight Black Rice and the Jerk Veggie Spring Rolls, which showcase the vibrant, earthy produce of the region.
Rounding out the meal, the Spice House Rum Punch offers a tropical sip that is both refreshing and potent, perfectly complementing the rich and hearty fare. And don’t be surprised if you’re treated like royalty—the team even surprised Christian Powell’s fiancé with a complimentary red velvet cake for her birthday, demonstrating their genuine care for guests.

This food was AWESOME!!! Everything from the service, the island escape platter, the happy hour appetizer and $5 crab leg (Thursday only) was Phenomenal. Although it was her first night of service Jackie was attentive, patient, and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure my family had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her positive attitude and great customer service truly set her apart. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so taken care of, and she absolutely did that. I will definitely be returning because of her outstanding service!
Me and my fiancé wanted to try some island food so she picked this spot. I was very pleased by the friendly staff. The food was generously seasoned and cooked thoroughly. I ordered the Spice House oxtails, rice and peas, and cabbage. My fiancé ordered the Rasta pasta with shrimp. She was even given a free red velvet cake for her birthday weekend. Everything was very tasty. 9/10 The only negatives were the parking and seating. Parking was $15 and the parking lot can quickly fill up during busy hours. The seating was very tight, leading to my chair being bumped several times. However, our waitress offered to change our seating for more room. Overall the experience was nice.
I was actually torn between three different restaurants for my 50th birthday dinner, and I’m so glad I chose Spice House. They were incredibly accommodating—my dinner party grew three different times, from 10 people to 16, and they handled it without hesitation. There was a little wait, but honestly it didn’t matter. We enjoyed live music and drinks at the bar, which made the time fly by. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and just genuinely pleasant to be around. The food, though… even better. I ordered the red snapper, and I can honestly say it was the best red snapper I’ve ever had. There was something special about the crust, and after talking with the manager, I learned it’s cooked using a Haitian method. It absolutely made the dish. What impressed me even more was finding out the manager was only nine days into the job and still managed every single request flawlessly. That alone says a lot about the level of service here. Whether you’re looking for a date night spot, a place to celebrate with friends, or even somewhere to enjoy a great meal by yourself, I highly recommend Spice House.
I want to give a shout out to my server Jackie she was very helpful in her recommendation to the Rasta pasta and the Island special! Everything was amazing!!! She was quick, personable, and attentive to me and my family. She checked in on us making sure everything was good or if we needed anything and you don’t get that in other restaurants. Thank you so much Jackie for making our first time at Spice house midtown memorable we will definitely be back!
My first time visiting this incredible place and OMG…..is all I can say! From the ambience, to the customer service, to the food…I give it a 10/10!! When I first pulled up, valet was there to assist. Parking is $11.00 and tips are welcomed! Then I walked up to this door and opened it…all I can say is “the smell is absolutely amazing”! The hookah, drinks, appetizers, and entrees were all on point! You cannot lose! No matter what you eat or drink, EVERYTHING was so delicious and fresh! Thanks to our waitress Alexis, manager Philly, and the chef, chef Danielle! She put her arms, feet, and whole body in those dishes! I truly appreciate everyone customer service…the hostess, the chef, manager, and our beautiful waitress (Alexis)! I will tell the whole world about Spice House Midtown! If you are ever in the area or visiting Atlanta….tell them I sent you! God bless your business and all that work there!
Every part of this experience was on point. The music was a vibe. We sat outside because the music was a little too loud with the live DJ but the DJ was jamming. I was rocking the whole time. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the price. I ate off 4 plates and appetizer. Everything was seasoned well and hearty. The service from the hostesses to the waiter was polite and patient. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and I'll be back! *Valet parking was $10*
